Try the calzone pizza- ricotta and ham, no sauce. Mmm-hmm. They do tend to have strange hours and are closed mid afternoon. Check for a coupon on the D&C web site. Romeo, Carol, Frank and Pia welcome you! Their pizza is delicious!! I have had a few different kinds, and there is no stand out, they are all very good. Their crust is delicious, nice and thick, but still doughy and soft. It's perfect! I suggest skipping single slice orders - they are not as good. Their hours are tricky, and I have driven there several times, only to find that they were closed. They are open later on Super Bowl Sunday, of course. — Order yourself a white pizza with sausage and garlic. They use homemade sausage and fresh slices of garlic for a pizza that will knock you out in flavor and potency. — HUGE pizza slices. I had a pepperoni slice and it was delicious and filling. The sweet and sour wings are made with sauce. Mmmmm! —

Located in Pittsford Colony Plaza, Brio billed itself as a Mediterranean Bistro, though perhaps "Mediterranean-Italian" is more descriptive. The usual range of pasta and pizza was offered, but, for example, the traditional tomato marinara is supplanted with use of lighter sauces emphasizing lemon and garlic, and olives are used liberally. Brio made their own pasta. Outdoor seating was available in the warm months, and live entertainment was occasionally offered on weekends. Otherwise, there's a lot of Sinatra played in the background. On slow nights, servers occasionally let children observe the cooks in the kitchen, and give them little paper chef hats to wear. In 2011 the named was changed and became a second location of the Pomodoro Grill and Wine Bar 7/14/08-Rochester Business Journal reports that Brio owner Sam Mina has a suit against him to force him to change the restaurant's name or settle for "least $10 million in damages for alleged trademark infringement, court records state"

Where sandwich is king. Campi's is a small restaurant in the 19th Ward, just north of the Scottsville Road/390 intersection. They are best known for the massive steak sandwiches called "Bombers." Watching a person eat an entire bomber in a single sitting is a sight to see because the sandwiches are at least a foot in diameter. In addition to the steak sandwiches they have hot and cold subs, wings, plates, burgers and hots, soup, fish fry, pasta dinners, fried chicken dinners, gyros, and cake for dessert. On October 19, 2011, the restaurant was featured on Man v. Food Nation where Adam Richman reports on the Italian Sausage Bomber. A video of this scene has been uploaded to the Travel Channel website.

CB Craft Brewers, formerly Custom BrewCrafters, was a brewery in Honeoye Falls founded in 1995. They specialized in producing beers that are sold by many regional bars and restaurants as "house beers". (The Old Toad often had their beers on tap in both keg and cask form.) CB Craft Brewers sold several under their own name. There were four beers available year-round and several seasonal/premium offerings that are periodically available. The brewery offered tastings of their brews (for a fee) throughout the week, as well as free tours of the brewery on weekends. Besides the tasting and tours, you could purchase their beers and Iron Fireman Root Beer in take home "growlers". CB Craft Brewers also operated the Pint & Goblet Tavern on-site where you can enjoy pints of their products along with a limited selection of food. Each Fall CB had their Autumn Festival of Ales which brings together representatives from the many establishments that served their beers for a big party. You could taste the different beers, participate as a judge in their chili contest (proceeds go to Mercy Flight), eat food from various vendors and listen to music. Brew Reviews Christmas Ale Surprisingly delicious. Discovered at Perinton Wegmans. Suitable choice of drink for enhancing: conversations with ex girlfriends, family gatherings, and time spent alone with the internet. Makes colors brighter and sadness more tolerable. Tastes like the holidays always should have. I could take any of you right now. Sadly this drink is only available during the Christmas season. Stock up. Goes perfectly with Oreo Cookies. Verdict: 8/10 - RobertPolyn English Pale Ale Double Dark Cream Porter A rich, smooth and almost chocolate-flavored brew, this porter is a great addition to any appetizer, entree or dessert. An Ant Hill favorite, thanks to RobertPolyn it has been our favorite way to unwind after a long day of cooperating. Indeed, we've been reduced to buying separate growlers for our greedy selves. - RossHattori See comments on the Talk page.

Clover Lanes was a bowling alley on Monroe Avenue that had been in Rochester since 1957. It was voted "Best Bowling Alley" in City Newspaper's 2005 "Best of Rochester" contest and has won several times previously. They had Wi-Fi access and a nice bar staff (but avoid the mixed drinks). The music was typical bowling alley fare, nothing too grating. There's was a mix of teenagers, families, college aged people, adults, and league bowlers; no one group seems to dominate, which keet it fresh and relaxing. Clover was convenient to the Monroe Ave area, Brighton, and Pittsford. It was probably the closest and best bowling alley choice for people living on the south-east side of the city. On March 31, 2016, Clover Lanes closed to make way for a planned strip mall. The owners announced they would be opening a new bowling alley under another name near Artisan Works in the fall of 2016; the more eclectic Radio Social opened in May, 2017. The Monroe Avenue building stood (mostly) empty until mid-2019, when demolition began to make way for Whole Foods Center.
